The boxing program at Insight BJJ is designed to meet the needs of boxers of various levels, from novice up. The focus of the training is based on fundamentals; particularly footwork, balance, movement, and proper offensive and defensive techniques.
Typical classes involve warmup exercises, followed by pad work, heavy bag, and partner drills to hone the specific principles being trained that day. When requested and appropriate, supervised sparring is added to the end of the classes.
The program is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. Children can be included in the class with prior approval from the coach, but must have their own training partners for drills.
