Sensei Pat earned his Yodan (4th degree black belt) in traditional Aikijujitsu through Kyu Shin Ryu Jujitsu (Victoria, Tx) under the direct instruction of Sensei Jaime Garza (6th Dan) and Sensei Chris Garcia (5th Dan) under Master Zdenek Matl (9th Dan). Pat is also recognized as Sandan (3rd degree black belt) in Judo under USJA. Subsequently, Pat trained for 5 years in BJJ (gi and no gi) and Kali at Integrated Fighting Arts (Austin, Tx). Sensei Pat draws from the traditional Aikijujitsu/Judo instruction and shares the discipline with a focus towards practical application.

Pat earned his BJJ blue belt on Jan 28, 2023 at Insight BJJ – HQ.
